It's hard holding on to a promise from God. But if God gave the promise, he will fulfill what he has spoken.
We can always trust God to be a promise Keeper.
God is not just a promise maker, but a promise fulfill-er.
When our situation is not lining up with what we felt the Lord said, it's so easy to get discourage, especially when the wait is long and nothing seems to be changing.
It's hard when we are trying to discern God's voice and we go through the process of surrender, laying down on the altar again and again, only to hear the Lord keep telling us the same thing.
The reason God keeps giving it back to us is because He knows the end result. He will lead us to pray "until" we see the breakthrough. He keeps showing up in signs and wonders when we seek him, when we pray and fast and repent. Others often don't understand our faith journey, even those who love us most. But they weren't the one who received God's promise. You did. So you must keep going.
Something we may to think, Will God's Word to me even come true?, or have I missed it entirely? yet suddenly another sign appear. A sign that God has already given in the promise process. We have to keep reminding ourselves that Jesus is worth every yes, even when it seem hard to follow Him. He keeps showing up on the journey to encourage us that we are on the right path. There will be times when we don't know what, when, why or how this promise will be fulfilled. But we can be assure that Holy Spirit will guide us to the finish line.
