Hello everyone, I thought this would be very good information to share with you on forgiveness. Many of us have such a hard time forgiving. I come to realize it’s hard to do something if you don't know exactly what it means, or how to. I was stumbling though some of my notes I had written some time ago, from I'm sure one of my favored TV. speakers. But as I was reading it this really refresh my heart on forgiveness, and it read as such:
Forgiveness:
is to freely give up resentment (strong and painful bitterness) against someone and the right to get even, no matter what has been done to us. It is surrendering you own right to hurt them back or feel that someone should pay for your pain.
Forgiveness:
The deliberate willful refusal to give up your resentment and the right to get even based on the wrongful thought that somebody need to pay. Forgiveness demand payment for wrong done.
Wow, this is so eye opening, to think we are holding our self-capture, because we feel someone should pay for mistreating us. Yes it hurt to be betrayed, or mistreated but the quickest we turn out hurt and [pain over to Jesus, the healing process began. This is a perfect example of Jesus love toward us, yes, He who knew no sin because sin that we may become the righteous one in Him, that’s forgiveness.
Keep showing God loves, it’s all worth it, and God loves you.
