For I know, God still has a plan for me. This year has been great. Regardless of the trials that I have face God has shown Himself faithful time and time again. I have met many new people, connected with old friends and of course lost some along the way, "But God". He knows what I need to grow into the person He created me to be.
His promise to me still stands that He made to me over 30 years ago, when He suggested I become a Sunday school teacher, I was overlooked, criticized and afraid, my biblical knowledge was very little, and I felt I didn't have a suitable teacher. Yet this year I have been reminded of God's spoken word to me as I ask Him, who will teach me, to teach others, "I will teach you," said the Lord. (Psalms 32:8).
Now I must run on as God has continue to shower His wisdom and knowledge upon me and within in me.
I must stand firm and believe. I must not doubt His work in me regardless of how things may look my faith must not waver.
As I open my eyes to the year of 2023, my trust is in the Lord, I come to realize that every year that change on the calendar does not have to be a new thing from God, but a continuing thing of obedience to fulfill his purpose.
