Sometime we make fasting much harder then it really is. Its almost like if we suffer or starve our self out it will bring us closer to God. I hope by now we have realize that is one of the biggest lie Satan tells us among others. However, once we receive Christ into our life we know our fasting, giving or anything that we offer must be with a heart of thanksgiving and appreciation for Him. in other words to sustain from food or our daily habits is the lest we can do. We can never repay God for what we has done by sending Christ to redeem us, therefore any acts that we take part in states Lord we thank you.
so don't be afraid to seek God though fasting and praying, its not about the numbers of days, or what you can or can not eat, but about you wanting more of God in your life, more of Jesus and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, that you will give up the things you are accustom to so you can have more of Him.
