“ Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you.
I have called you by name;
you are Mine.”
Devotional Reflection:
There are moments in life when silence feels loud, when prayers seem unanswered and direction feels unclear. In those moments, it’s easy to believe we have been overlooked or forgotten. But God does not lose track of His children. He does not misplace purpose, nor does He forget promises.
Scripture reminds us that God calls us by name. Not by our mistakes. Not by our past. Not by what we failed to become. He calls us His. Identity in Christ is not something we earn, it is something we receive through relationship. Before you ever responded to Him, He already claimed you.
When fear rises, the truth of God’s Word must rise higher. Being called by name means you are seen, known, and intentionally loved. Even when life feels uncertain, your identity in Christ remains unshaken.
Heart Reflection: Take a moment and ask yourself:
- Where have I felt unseen or forgotten?
- What lie have I believed about my worth?
- How does God calling me His change how I see myself today?
Faith Action Today, speak this aloud:
“I am known by God. I am claimed by Him. I belong.”
Carry this truth with you throughout the day—especially when doubt tries to speak louder.
Closing Prayer
Father, thank You for calling me by name and reminding me that I belong to You. Help me walk in the confidence of who I am in Christ and silence every voice that contradicts Your truth. Amen.
This Week’s Declaration “I am chosen, known, and secure in Christ Jesus.”
