“So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what He has promised.”
Hebrews 10:35–36
Life can sometimes test our faith in ways we never expected. There are seasons when prayers seem delayed, doors remain closed, and discouragement tries to settle into our hearts. In those moments, God reminds us not to throw away our confidence in Him.
Biblical confidence is not pride in ourselves, it is trust in God’s faithfulness. Even when we cannot see immediate results, God is still working. Every prayer, every act of obedience, and every moment of perseverance matters in His sight.
These verses also remind us that endurance is necessary. God often uses waiting seasons to strengthen our faith, mature our character, and prepare us for His promises. What feels like delay may actually be divine preparation.
Do not allow disappointment to silence your faith. Continue trusting God, standing on His Word, and walking in obedience. The promise is still connected to perseverance.
