Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:
And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. Psalm 139:23-24
God is not distant or unaware, He is deeply personal. He knows your heart even better than you do. When David prayed this, he wasn’t hiding; he was surrendering. Inviting God to search you isn't about condemnation, it’s about transformation. It’s a bold request for God to lovingly reveal anything that hinders your walk and to lead you in the path that brings life, truth, and peace.
Be encouraged: God's correction is never for your shame, it’s for your growth. When you invite Him in, you’re choosing freedom. His way is everlasting, and He walks with you every step of the journey.
Remind me, Lord,
That nothing in me is hidden from You. Search my heart, not to expose me, but to heal me. Show me what I cannot see in myself, my thoughts, my motives, my ways. If there's anything in me that doesn't please You, don’t let it stay. Cleanse me. Redirect me. Lead me into Your truth and keep me on the path that brings life. I trust You to guide me because Your way is everlasting.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
